Job Description:

Boart Longyear is seeking a new Key Account Technical Manager to provide technical support, the launch of new products, product testing and assist in development of further business opportunities with an existing global customer identified as a Key Account.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field

  • Master’s degree would be considered an asset

  • 8-10 years progressively responsible experience in sales & commercial leadership

  • Experience in mining and/or drilling industry

  • High mobility – with extensive travel including international travel (approx. 50-60%)

  • Valid drivers license and the ability to cross international borders

  • Fluency in English required with strong communication skills. Fluency in French would also be considered an asset

  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and a matrixed organization
