Job Overview

The QlikView Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions using QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Qlik Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data warehousing, ETL, data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development, with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and deliver scalable BI solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Qlik Cloud applications and dashboards.

2. Analyze source system data and build efficient data models and load scripts.

3. Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

4. Develop visualizations, reports, and dashboards that provide meaningful business insights.

5. Optimize application performance through efficient scripting, data modeling, and UI design.

6. Create and maintain Section Access and security models.

1. Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows.

2. Ability to translate business process requirements into actionable technical and reporting solutions.

9. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to applications, reports, and data loads.

10. Document application designs, data models, and technical specifications.

11. Support testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.

12. Train and support end users and promote the adoption of BI solutions.

13. Participate in SDLC activities and contribute to reusable frameworks and best practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts including Databases, Data Modeling, ETL, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with QlikView, Qlik Sense, and Qlik Cloud.
• Knowledge of QlikView Section Access, Set Analysis, and QlikView Publisher for application security and distribution.
• Working knowledge of NPrinting for automated report generation and distribution.
• Experience with SQL/PLSQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to ETL tools, OLAP/MOLAP technologies, and data modeling tools.
• Experience with JavaScript or VBScript for Qlik extensions is a plus.
• Experience with QlikView Publisher and NPrinting.
• Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile and SDLC-based development environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Work Environment: Primarily an office-based environment with regular use of computers and other standard office equipment. The role may require occasional meetings or work in other company locations and collaboration with employees across different functions and geographic regions.
• Lifting Requirements: This position is primarily sedentary and does not routinely require lifting. Occasional lifting or carrying of light office materials or equipment may be required.
