Boart Longyear is accepting resumes for the role of temporary Warehouse Clerk in Saskatoon, SK. Boart Longyear is committed to high quality, safety, environmental and continuous improvement practices. Applicants should be able to demonstrate shared values in this area and perform manual and clerical duties related to general warehousing duties, while complying with Boart Longyear’s operational performance targets, safety initiatives, and company policies and procedures.

This position is a Temporary 4-Month term.

Hourly Wage: $26.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a warehousing/manufacturing environment
  • Must have Forklift experience
  • Valid Drivers’ license
  • Strong computer skills (Experience with Microsoft office)
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work in accordance with all safety policies and procedures

Position Requirements:

  • Perform manual and clerical duties related to general warehousing duties
  • Data entry skills (numeric and alpha)
  • Job task planning and organizing
  • Operate forklift
  • Receive, handle and dispatch goods coming in and out of warehouses
  • Unload goods and verify against order forms
  • Organize goods as required
  • Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off against appropriate lists
  • Package and send out completed orders to customers
  • Mobilize and demobilize jobs when required
  • Move heavy packages using forklift machinery
  • Enter details of received delivery slips and requisitions into system
  • Conduct physical inventory cycle counts
  • Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas
  • Demonstrate pro-active behavior in attempt to improve warehousing operations
  • This position requires ongoing physical demands including lifting, bending, walking, standing.
